Eagle Eyecare is focused on restoring and maintaining your vision. Dr. Ravi R. Patel specializes in cornea, cataract, and comprehensive eye care. His primary goal is to provide high-quality customized care for all patients, and his friendly team operates with a patient-first mentality. Dr. Patel will discuss all your options with you before deciding on a custom approach to your vision needs.
Dr. Patel was raised in Jacksonville and graduated from the Bolles School. He completed his undergraduate degree with honors at the University of Miami, and received his M.D. from the University of Florida, where he was accepted into a competitive ophthalmology residency. He went on to complete a fellowship in cornea and refractive surgery at the prestigious Shiley Eye Center at the University of California San Diego. While at UCSD, Dr. Patel served as a clinical instructor providing academic and clinical care. He then worked with NY Laser Group in New York City and taught residents surgery at Cornell University. After returning to his hometown, Dr. Patel founded Eagle Eyecare Group.
Dr. Patel’s surgical interests include custom cataract and anterior segment surgery, cornea transplants, and LASIK.
