Joseph Costa, DO, specializes in traumatic injuries of the urinary system, incontinence and pelvic reconstructive surgery. A board-certified urologist, he completed his fellowship in neuro-urology and reconstructive surgery before gaining 12 years of additional experience. Dr. Costa has developed one of region’s largest practices addressing bladder dysfunctions that stem from spinal defects. He is also an expert in repairing vaginal tissue herniations, and he maintains continual follow-ups using one of the nation’s largest databases for this type of surgery.

Dr. Williams’ area of expertise is minimally invasive surgery for urological malignancy. He routinely performs laparoscopic and robotic procedures, including prostatectomy, partial and radical nephrectomy (retroperitoneal and transperitoneal approaches) and adrenalectomy. In addition, he is an expert in using cryotherapy as a minimally invasive treatment option for kidney and prostate cancer. These procedures require no large incisions and reduce recovery time significantly in comparison with conventional open surgery.
